Continually improve the quality of our services in order to exceed the demands of our customers
To take all the necessary measures to secure our business continuity at all times
Implementing the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility
Comply with all relevant national/international laws, regulations and directives for Health and Safety at work and environmental protection
Meet the requirements of the standard of ISO 9001:2008
Provide training regarding the above management issues to our employees
Improve our communication with our customers, suppliers and/or subcontractors
Improve our operations by introducing new technology and new operating standards
Provide a responsible communication channel for innovative ideas and constructive criticism.

Investing in communities

corporate responsibility

Hydro-Comp is committed to investing in communities in areas where it is active with projects. For example on Mandela day in South Africa, it contributed in renovating school facilities at Sizani Primary School in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

The activities included renovating the toilets (fixing broken windows, install burglar bars, painting and unblocking toilets).

Hydro-Comp staff is seen in the picture dressed in white painting the school with the company’s colours.

“It is these seemingly small insignificant actions that make a difference and it was our answer to Mandela’s call of giving back and creating a better tomorrow”.

Promoting Local Supplies

Hydro-Comp is committed to improving local enterprises and our policy is where possible to purchase from them. For example, in South Africa in 2011, 90% of our purchases have been from BEE companies.

Investing in our staff

investors in people

We at Hydro-Comp understand that people are our most important assets and we share in the Government’s view that we need to provide meaningful employment to previously disadvantaged people.

Our current structure demonstrates this commitment and we continuously strive to empower them through various capacity building initiatives and encourage them to attend regular studies that increase their knowledge. Studies are subsidised by the company between 50% and 100% depending on their relevance. As an example the company subsidised MBA for four of its managers the last 3 years.
